How SkillToClient collects, uses, shares, and protects your information.

Effective date: September 20, 2026

Who we are

SkillToClient provides business education and optional business-setup services for skilled professionals. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through skilltoclient.com and the SkillToClient member dashboard. Questions: hello@skilltoclient.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, city and state, trade or service type, business details you enter during onboarding, booking and consultation details, and files or photos you upload. Information collected automatically: pages viewed, referring source, device and browser type, and general location derived from your IP address. Payment information is entered directly with our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.

How we use your information

To deliver free classes, reminders, and resources; to create and operate your member dashboard; to schedule and prepare for consultations and setup calls; to provide paid services you purchase; to answer support requests; to measure how our website and advertising perform; and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

How we share information

We share only what is needed with service providers that run the platform on our behalf: hosting and database services, email and marketing automation, video meeting software, and payment processing. We may share information with advertising measurement services as described below, or when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and analytics

We use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) conversion measurement. When you register for a class, these services receive a report that a registration occurred so we can measure ad performance. Visitors in regions that require consent (including the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Quebec) are not measured. You can opt out of personalized ads through Google's ad settings and Meta's ad preferences.

Third-party connections

If you choose to connect an outside account or service to SkillToClient, we request only the access needed to provide the feature you asked for, use that data solely to deliver that feature, and never sell it. You can disconnect the service at any time, and we delete the associated access credentials when you do.

Text and email communication

By providing your phone number and email address you agree to receive class reminders, account messages, and related updates. Message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, or reply STOP to text messages. We will still send essential account and transaction messages.

How long we keep information

We keep account and customer records for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements. Marketing contact records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your choices and rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time. Email hello@skilltoclient.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting your information may end access to member features.

Security

Data is stored with reputable hosting and database providers, transmitted over encrypted connections, and access is limited to people who need it to operate SkillToClient. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

SkillToClient is intended for adults building a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date below reflects the most recent update, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
